Important Festivals: Some of the most popular festivals celebrated all over Seattle are Northwest Flower and Garden Show, Bite of Seattle, Bumbershoot, and Fremont Fair. Northwest Flower and Garden Show is celebrated for a few days in the cool month of February, but, you need not worry about being cold because this show is held indoors inside the Washington State Convention & Trade Center. The displays in this fair occupy almost five acres of ground and consist of beautiful flowers and a wide variety of plants, which are put on display by landscapers, nurseries, and non-commercial gardeners. People flock to this festival in thousands to have an eyeful of the colorful flowers and the beautiful plants.

Customs and Traditions: Like all cities, Seattle also has its own customs and traditions, which are a reflection of its rich and vibrant culture. Although Seattle is known as "the Rainy City" still it is considered "giving in" to carry around an umbrella in Seattle. To blend in with the people of Seattle, you should instead wear a raincoat or some other means of protection. The dress code for most restaurants in Seattle is informal, as only a few require a jacket and a tie.
