Seafair is among the most popular events in Seattle. Seafair 2007 was an elaborate celebration that organized numerous festivals like Milk Carton Derby, Scholarship Program,Community Events, Marathon, Triathlon, Fireworks and Concert, Hydroplane Races, Torchlight Run, Torchlight Parade, Air Show, Fleet Week and many more. Seafair & 76 Special People's Holiday Cruise is a very exciting event that was held on 2nd December 2007. Both independent boaters and charter operators participate in this event. They voluntarily use their boats, crew and time for a special holiday cruise to nearly 2,500 disabled guests. This special holiday cruise is planned on the beautiful lakes of Lake Union and Lake Washington passing through the Montlake Cut near the 520 bridge. On this occasion about 400 boaters will decorate their boats with lights and welcome guests for a ride at different docks and yacht clubs close to the area. The scheduled Seafair & 76 Special People's Holiday Cruise will be held between 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm. Before participating in the event the boaters have register their boat.
The 2007 Chevrolet Cup at Seafair was an exciting event that was witnessed by thousands of visitors displaying the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, a concert on Saturday night, breathtaking fireworks show and spectacular Hydroplane Racing.
