KEXP 90.3 FM Seattle started in 1972 as a small 10-watt station that has gradually developed into a radical and powerful cultural force of the Seattle community and beyond. KEXP 90.3 FM is an interesting commercial-free radio station that is aired at the 90.3 FM frequency in Seattle. This radio station was formerly called KCMU. In the year it was renamed as KEXP 90.3FM. All the staff members and the management remained the same and only the wattage was increased from 400 to 720 enabling a wider coverage area.
