About City: Seattle a city of the US state of Washington built on the Seattle Fault; a major source of earthquake activity is official called as "Emerald City". Seattle is also known by nicknames like "Rainy City," "the Gateway to Alaska", "Queen City," and "Jet City."

According to the researchers at Central Connecticut State University, Seattle is the most literate city in the United States.

Where is It: Seattle is located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington. It is located about 108 miles south of the United States-Canadian border. Geographically Seattle is located between the co-ordinates 47.37 North latitude and 122.20 West longitude.

How to Commute: Seattle Travel is enjoyed by the visitors because of the easy availability of transport facilities. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport connects Seattle to all major destinations of the world. This airport mainly uses the transpacific routes.
Seattle is very well connected to all these places by public transit buses, shuttles, taxis, rented cars, monorail and street cars. Downtown Seattle is linked to the near-by spectacular islands by ferries.
