Mass Transit: Buses of the Metropolitan Transit System, trolleys, and provide transport throughout San Diego. Using this system you can travel to and from the airport, shopping centers, tourist spots, beaches, hotels, and even to Mexico. The San Diego Trolley runs every 15 minutes throughout the day and every 30 minutes in the evening.

Airports: The main airport that serves the city of San Diego is the San Diego International Airport. It is also known as the Lindbergh International Airport. It is located about 10 miles from downtown San Diego. A total of 22 major and commuter airlines use this airport. The other minor airports of San Diego are Brown Field Airport and Montgomery Field Municipal Airport.
Taxis: There are numerous taxicab stands located at the airport, most hotels, tourist attractions, and shopping centers. Rates of cab trips vary from company to company. A company’s rates of fare are posted on the inside and outside of every taxicab.

Online Booking of Flights: All major and some regional US carriers serve San Diego International Airport. The only three international carriers, which serve San Diego are British Airways, Aero Mexico, and Air Canada.
