The cafe was established in January 1983. It started as a coffee shop and sweetened bread bakery on the first floor of Judy Wicks' house at Sansom Street. With the growing popularity the café introduced different kinds of soups and sandwiches, prepared in Judy's kitchen at the upper level. The seating arrangement was extended to the back of the house, thus, preparing a massive dining hall for the guests to enjoy all kinds of activities. Soon a charcoal grill was created where sizzling, hot foods were served, many more seats were added in the backyard porch.
