The Prime Rib


The Prime Rib opened in Warwick Hotel of Philadelphia in 1997. It is situated on 1701 Locust Street, only a few steps away from the famous Rittenhouse Square. The Prime Rib is a part of a chain of restaurants. The first restaurant of this group was opened in 1965 in Baltimore. With the rise in the popularity of the restaurant, Washington D.C., became the second location of the Prime Rib in 1976.

The ambiance of the Prime Rib, transports guests to the age of the 'supper club'. The restaurant boasts of carpets with leopard prints and comfortable leather chairs, which lends a retro look to it. Live jazz shows and the music of piano make the restaurant a truly enchanting place.

The menu of the Prime Rib comprises the best dishes for dinner. Food lovers from every part of the city, visit the restaurant for its lip smacking entrees, salads, desserts and much more.
The world famous 'prime rib' is the signature dish of the restaurant. Salads like house salad, tomato, feta and onion salad and Caesar salad are hot favorites. The roasted tomato soup is equally delicious.

The entrees of the Prime Rib include dishes like roast prime rib of beef, grilled Atlantic salmon, flat iron steak and double breast of chicken. The entrees are served with mashed potatoes and cream spinach. The desserts of the Prime Rib are irresistible and range from creme brulee to chocolate mousse pie, from lime pie to cheesecake and from ice cream to sorbet.

In rhe 3 private dining rooms of the Prime Rib, 10 to 70 people can be easily accommodated. The whole restaurant can also be booked for functions during the day for 50 to 200 people.

The Prime Rib restaurant is famed throughout the country for its best steaks, succulent chops, amazing seafood and cocktails.
