Please Touch Museum was founded in1976 with the aim of educating young children and families, through games and fun-filled activities. Please Touch Museum is located on 210 N. 21st Street in the center of Parkway museum district in Philadelphia.
The opening hours of Please Touch Museum are 9 AM to 4:30 PM from Sunday to Thursday. On Friday and Saturday it closes at 5 PM . The museum remains closed on Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day and Christmas.
The interactive and wonderful exhibitions of Please Touch Museum are:
- Enchanted Colonial Village: It is a huge life-size exhibit, in which scenes of small hamlet and preparations of holidays are depicted. It has been built by a famous German toy firm.
- Story Garden: Young visitors can hear a tale, sit in a gazebo or participate in the tabletop activities of the exhibition.
- Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: In this exhibition, kids can discover characters like Mad Hatter, Dodo and Queen of Hearts and even visit the Hall of Doors and Mirrors.

- The Super Market: In this amazing exhibition, children can stroll through shelves, stacked with various items, visit the bakery and move with a shopping cart.
- Barnyard Babies, Sendak and Move It are the other popular exhibits of the museum.
Theater of Please Touch Museum is a unique for its original performances by the members of the Please Touch Playhouse. The shows are original, organized for children and run for 20 minutes. They feature everything from music to folklore and from movement to puppetry.
The Kids Store at Please Touch Museum has a good stock of selected games, books and toys. These items represent the educational principles of the museum.
The collection of Please Touch Museum, mainly comprises various toys, which are loved by all kids. Toys are not only playing objects but they help in the overall mental development of kids.
