Old St. Joseph's Church is among the oldest Roman Catholic churches in Philadelphia. It has been gathered from the history of Old St. Joseph's Church, that it was established in 1733 by a community of Jesuits. Even in the modern times the staff of the church comprises Jesuits and their colleagues.
