Many festivals and events are held every year in Philadelphia. These festivals reflect the true cosmopolitan culture of Philadelphia. The most famous among the festivals is the Mummers Parade, which is held on the New Year's Day. The Puerto Rican Day Parade and the Saint Patrick's Day Parade are the second oldest parade in America.
