New York City Community College

New York City community college is the name given to the six colleges that make up New York City University. These colleges have a high standard of education and have been able to carve a niche for themselves among the major educational institutions of the United States.

The New York City community colleges include the Hostos Community College, LaGuardia Community College, Borough of Manhattan Community College, Kingsborough Community College, Queens borough Community College, and Bronx Community College. New York City community colleges offer both regular and vocational courses as well as associate degrees. The degrees offered in these community colleges usually require a two to four year commitment.
