Minneapolis is located on the west side of the Mississippi River. It is a modern city and is recognized as one of the cultural and entertainment capitals of the United States. The wide array of cultural attraction draws thousands of tourists to the city.
The first thing that strikes about Minneapolis is its impressive skyline. The city almost has 200 high rise buildings. Many high rises are linked by a series of enclosed overhead walkways called skyways. At 30 feet (9 meters) above street level, the walkway connects hundreds of stores, restaurants and cafes with 1,500 apartments, 4,000 hotel rooms and 200 million square feet (19 million square meters) of offices. The skyway is especially popular during winter months.

This zoo features more than 2000 There are several museums in Minneapolis. Some famous museums are animals, with over three hundred fifty species being represented in their natural habitats.

Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary
The Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary is the oldest public wildflower garden in the U.S. It features woodland, swamp and prairie areas with seasonal wildflowers to see.
