Minneapolis Community and Technical College is a community and technical college situated in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The college is located near Loring Park, in the heart of the Minneapolis city and is a part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. It is the tenth largest post-secondary institution in Minnesota and is the most ethnically diverse college.

The mission of the Minneapolis Community and Technical College is to provide high quality, lifelong learning programs. It offers a spectrum of academic programs, including certificates, diplomas and associate degrees. Many of the programs transfer to four-year colleges while others prepare the students to face the world of work.

The Minneapolis Community and Technical College offers associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and MN transfer curriculum. The College also has continuing education and training program. The courses offered at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College are:

The Minneapolis Community and Technical College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. At present, there are 10,880 students, out of which the maximum are Whites. The student to faculty ratio is 22 to 1.

The tuition fees at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College includes a per-credit Technology fee, student life fee and student association fee. For the residents of Minnesota, the charges for Summer Session are $142.81 per semester. For non-Minnesota residents the charges are $273.56 per semester. For online courses, one has to pay $150.00 for both Minnesota and non-Minnesota residents. For filmmaking, video and digital arts, screenwriting and few other courses the charges for Minnesota residents are $208.19 and $404.31 for non-Minnesota residents, in each semester.

As a student at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College one may find many opportunities to participate in campus and leadership activities. The Student Senate is the official voice of the students. Apart from it, there are many student clubs, special interest clubs, academic interest clubs, honor societies, fine arts program, intercollegiate athletics and recreational activities.
