Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport has a history of its own that is associated with the names of many a famous personalities in America. It has got its present name after changing many names . MSP Airport was first named as 'Speedway Field'. Then the name 'Wold-Chamberlain Field' was given to it after the names of two famous pilots who fought in the first World War. Then again the name was changed to Minneapolis St. Paul Metropolitan Airport and then finally to its present day name .
MSP Airport has two terminals and seven concourses. The terminals are named again after the names of two famous persons in America. For the concourses previously color was used. But now letters are used to determine the several concourses . The terminals are named Lindbergh Terminal and Humphrey Terminal . The former one is relatively bigger. The concourses are named by letter A to G.

There are several routes that connect the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport. Some of these routes are, Minnesota State Highway no. 5,62,77 and Interstate 494. There is moreover the Hiawatha Light Rail that has station at both the terminals of MSP Airport.

MSP Airport has four runways . Two of them are concrete build and the other two are made of both asphalt or concrete.
