Area & Location: Lies near the Salt Creek and among the nearly flat saline wetlands of northern Lancaster County, Lincoln is located 40º48'35? Latitude North and 96º40'31?Longitude West. The city covers a total area of 195.2 sq. km out of which 193.3 sq. km is land and 1.9 sq. km is water. It has a population of 225, 581.
