The Museum of Lewiston-Auburn focuses upon the history of the Twin cities during the Industrial Revolution, when a flow of immigrants transformed the peaceful hamlet of Lewiston-Auburn into a vibrant, prosperous city.

The Franco-American Heritage Center is another exciting traveling spot of Lewiston. It was established in the year 2000 to preserve and promote the various aspects of the Franco-American heritage, including culture, history and language.

The Lewiston Walking Tour is a self-guided walking tour which makes you aware about the architecturally significant buildings in both the cities of Lewiston and Auburn.

If you are getting bored and love adventure sports then you can surely visit The Lost Valley Ski Area has 15 trails and 3 hills for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Night skiing is available. During summers, mountain biking and paintball are popular activities.

The Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary is another interesting place to visit. This 310 acre wildlife sanctuary is open to public for hiking, picnics, cross-country skiing, nature photography and other activities. Visitors to this place are advised to walk the trails using the self-guide brochure.
