Lafayette College is an ancient academic institution with over a century of history behind it. Lafayette College boasts of having a number of notable students from the past years. This college is located in the city of Easton in Pennsylvania, United States. The residents of this city had established this school in the second decade of the 19 th century. The city was named after Marquis de Lafayette, a French military officer, who had coincidentally visited Easton during the time of the formation of the college. Within a few years of its inception Lafayette College had began its relation with the Presbyterian Church but very recently they are planning to break this bond. The college for over a century had limited itself to males only but form 1970s things changed and women too got a chance to enter the premises of this esteemed college.
