The “Queen City of the Rockies” or Helena , the capital of Montana, is the only city which survived the onslaught of the gold rush and actually developed into a city which till today has held its fort and with a booming economy, owing mostly to tourism and mining, has grown to become a tourist hot spot and a significant city of the US. In fact, the cathedral towering high above the city's skyline cuts the prettiest picture in Helena.
