Fort Wayne Community Schools is a borough of a number of public schools serving the region of the entire Indiana state. The Fort Wayne Community Schools comprise of thirty four elementary schools, ten middle schools, one intermediate school, six high schools, and a career center along with an alternative learning program.
According to the estimates of 2003 and 2004 the FWCS comprises of almost 3% of the total K-12 student population of the state of Indiana.
