Previously its name was Fort Smith Junior College . Later it came to be known by the name name of Westark Junior College and then Westark Community College . It has very recently come to be known as the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith or UA Fort Smith. It has several colleges and courses under it. - Webster University : This university is situated in 801 Carnall Avenue, Fort Smith , Arkansas. It has three high quality courses to offer. These courses are, Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Information Technology Management and Master of Arts in Human Resource Management. The tuition fees for courses in this university are about $410 for a credit hour for general students. Students of online courses have to pay some more amount of fees for every credit hour which is approximately $540.
- John Brown University : While the former two universities were public universities, John Brown University is a private university and is mainly for the Christian community students. It has both national and international presence and this university offers about fifty courses in the graduate level.
