Mass Transit: The public transportation authority of Dallas is called Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). It provides buses, trains, and HOV lanes. Presently, DART operates two rail lines.

Airports: Dallas has two commercial airports – Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field. Besides this, there are six other airports located in the suburbs. In size, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is the largest airport in the state, the second largest in the United States, and the third largest in the world.

Taxis: Taxi service is available from the airports. There are numerous private taxicab companies on the roads of Dallas.
