COEUR D'ALENE

Coeur d'Alene is a city in the U.S state of Idaho. The name Coeur d'Alene means "heart of the awl" which means "sharp-hearted" or "shrewd." It is the principal city of the Coeur d'Alene. It is also the county seat and the largest city of Kootenai County and the principal city of the Coeur d'Alene. Coeur d'Alene is the largest city in the Idaho Panhandle.



Area & Location: Sits on the western edge of the Coeur d'Alene National Forest, the city is located at 47°41'34? Latitude North and 116°46'48? Longitude West. The city covers a total area of 35.2 sq. km with 34.0 sq. km of land and 1.2 sq. km of water. Coeur d'Alene has an elevation of 2180ft above sea level.
