The Winsor School




The Winsor School was established in 1886 and it has been satisfying the educational needs of students since then. The history of The Winsor School says that it was founded by Miss Mary Pickard Winsor. The Winsor School in Boston is a private day school, set up only for girls, who can seek admission in grades from 5 to 12.

The Winsor School has a multi-media language laboratory, 3 art studios, 3 computer labs and 7 science laboratories. Apart from these, the school offers its students acres of playing fields,

a reconstructed gymnasium and tennis courts. The excellent library of The Winsor School has been renovated and it houses 27,000 volumes of books, 850 periodicals and more.

The Winsor School is recognized for offering a scientific academic program, but it is rightly balanced by the introduction of subjects like physical education and arts. The girls of this school take part in a number of activities. The school has 30 clubs and teams for 13 sports.
