Boston Herald, one of the leading hundred newspapers in the USA was originally found in the year 1846. After various changes, on December 20, 1982, the present Boston Herald newspaper came into existence. Rupert Murdoch, chairman of News Corp. acquired the old Boston Herald from the Hearst Corporation and it was given a new name from the Herald American back to its original name the Boston Herald.
