Boston is not only the largest city in New England, but it is also a paradise for shopping lovers. It is one of the wealthiest and most influential cities in the U.S. Traveling in Boston is an absolute pleasure with many sightseeing destinations and highly developed transportation facilities. Boston is a city of diverse neighborhoods like the historic areas of Back Bay, Beacon Hill, China Town, Downtown, Fenway Park among others.

The weather in Boston is very unpredictable and becomes cold in the winter and has humid summers. Early summer season tends to be nice, but it is hard to predict when that will be year to year. During that time, the weather and temperature are perfect and is the ideal time to visit Boston.

Boston has a relatively inexpensive public transit system, named Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Travelers or tourists are required to use the temporary CharlieTickets as opposed to the permanent CharlieCards. Boston has four subways which are widely used. Buses tend to run the circumferential routes rather than through the center of the city. The MBTA also runs a number of water shuttles. Commuter trains are used for traveling to towns outside of the city. Most major tourist attraction spots can be visited on foot although some might require rail or buses.
