Boise is the capital and the most heavily populated city of the State of Idaho, USA. Boise was established as a city in 1864, before that the first capital of Idaho was Lewiston, but Boise replaced it in 1865. This new city grew rapidly, as according to the 2000 census, Boise's population was 185,787, where as in the 2005 the greater Boise area had an estimated population of 793, 161.

Boise is a combination of both traditional and non-traditional sights and attractions. Boise is also popular as the City of Trees , just because of the wide greenery available in the site. The City of Trees features urban parks, a river flowing through the heart of Boise and a 25-mile river front greenbelt.
