Biloxi, Mississippi





Biloxi is a city in the U.S state of Mississippi. The city was founded by the French in 1699. It was then ruled by Spain, England, the West Florida Republic, the Confederate States and the U.S. In 1720, it became the capital of Louisiana. Later in 1723, the capital was shifted to New Orleans. The city in the Harrison County is the co-county seat with Gulfport.

Population: Biloxi is home to 50,644 of its inhabitants.
