It is also a center of film production. Night spots and all performing arts are present. The hills start from this region. Other famous natural wonders include Mount Bonnell, Barton Springs, Deep eddy pool, Hamilton's pool, enchanted rock and the high land lakes.
Transport:
The city has an extensive public bus network with inexpensive neighborhood express and downtown routes. The Texas S team Train Association plies several tours aboard the Hill Country Flyer steam train into and around Texas Hill Country. The train makes short half hour jaunts as well as a 30 mile (50km) round tours on weekends March through December. This apart there are taxis, car rentals and shuttles to take one around the city.
