Based in Manchester, the Longcut is a popular English band in Britain. The Longcut is relatively a new musical band, originating in the year 2002. Ever since its inception, this English band had a good career start by releasing one album, EPs, several single music and remixes as well as 7 remixes and inches.
Rise of The Longcut into prominence
The four founder-members of the Longcut were all students in the University of Manchester. In the initial stage, the musical career of the Longcut suffered a setback when the vocalist left the band. Even after that Longcut decided to continue as an instrumental band, composing music only. In course of time, Longcut's experiments with the drums gave birth to fresh tunes, followed by the introduction of unique stage set-up.
Very soon, the original music of the Longcut together with its vibrant live stage performances brought the band into limelight, and the music recording companies became interested in working with this talented band. This was followed by the signing contract with the Deltasonic of Liverpool. The association of the Longcut with the Nine Black Alps, an indie/grunge band in Manchester entertained the audience in several private parties organized by Akoustik Anarkhy. Kingdom and gave extensive musical presentations. Longcut's

performances in the Fuji Rock Festival, SXSW and the Glastonbury Festival were showered with accolades.
