The Pankhurst Centre is one of the popular tourist attractions and a heritage area of Manchester city. The Pankhurst Centre in Manchester is dedicated to women only. Emmeline established the Women’s Social and Political Union in the same house in 1903.The museum section of Pankhurst Centre is a memorial to Emmeline Pankhurst and the suffragettes. Visitors can find newspapers, books, magazines and other memorabilia dating back to the suffrage period at the center.

Bus route numbers 15, 16, 50, 41- 44,111, 113 and 46-48 can be availed to reach the center. The opening timing of Pankhurst Centre is from 10 AM to 4 PM from Monday to Thursday. It remains closed from Friday to Sunday. There are no admission charges for entering the center.
A visit to the museum of Pankhurst Centre allows the visitors to learn about Pankhurst family, who occupied the Georgian house and worked as suffragettes.
