Nine Black Alps is a popular music band of Manchester, playing English indie rock notes. The name of the band was taken from a poem of Sylvia Plath. ‘Everything Is’ is the band's first album released in June 2005. The massive popularity of this band however, comes from their rocking live performances.

Although the Nine Black Alps music band is a young band in the Manchester, they played for the Kaiser Chiefs during their UK tour in April 2005, and later for the Weezers in August. They were one of the best groups performing at the 2005 Glastonbury festival and Leeds festival. Nine Black Alps music band also specializes in alternative rock, grunge and britpop. The members of this band are James Galley (Drums), Sam Forrest (Vocals/Guitar), Martin Cohen (Bass/Guitar) and David Jones (Guitar/Bass). They played their first single
"Cosmopolitan" in the U.S. The band also

performed in front of the mass audience in March, 2006, at the Southwest Festival in Austin.
