Entry to the Museum is free and it opens from 10.00am-5.00pm (Tuesday-Saturday) and from 11am-4pm on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays.
The Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester is another famous museum of Manchester located at the Liverpool Road. There are 15 galleries in the museum providing information about various aspects of science and related topics. Some of the permanent exhibitions include Air & Space Gallery, the Making of Manchester and many more. The museum opens on every day from 10.00am-5.00pm. However, it remains closed on Christmas Eve.
Urbis or Manchester’s Centre for Urban Culture is located on the Corporation Street amidst Cathedral Gardens, exhibiting all kinds of antiques collected from all over the world. Entry is free to the museum.
The Gallery of Costume and Platt Hall situated at the Wilmslow Road boasts of the unique collections of textiles, clothing and fashion accessories. The museum is open daily from 10.00am to 5.30pm.
