iViva! Spanish Film Festival is a contemporary festival of visual arts and film. The film festival features some of the best Spanish and Latin American cinema. The festival showcases a mixture of popular, shorts, independents and documentaries. Eminent filmmakers, actors and people who organize participate in this event. Along with the screening of film and documentaries, there are series of informal talks between filmmakers, critics and academicians interested in Spanish and Latin American film and culture.
The iViva! Spanish Film Festival 2008 is scheduled to be held between 6th and 16th March. The entrance timing in the festival is between 11.00 am and 6.00 pm from Tuesday to Saturday, while on Thursdays the

shows run till 9pm. On Sundays, one can watch their favorite movies from 2.00 pm-6.00 pm. The venue for the festival is Cornerhouse, which is located in the heart of the city. The center has 3 floors housing a bookshop, art galleries, a bar, café and 3 cinema screens. It was opened in 1985 and since then it has gained reputation internationally for its excellence and innovation.
The iViva! Spanish Film Festival 2007 featured nearly 100 Hispanic films, including documentaries, new features, shorts and horror extravaganza. The festival was celebrated between 15th and 25th March at Manchester's Cornerhouse.
