He was born in 1893 in Manchester and passed away in 1950. He studied at Manchester Grammar School and New College in Oxford and excelled in his studies. He was a lecturer at McGill University from 1914 to 1916, at Harvard University between 1916 and 1920 and at Yale University from 1919 to 1920. He also contributed to a magazine named the New Republic
Harold Laski joined London School of Economics or LSE in 1920. He served as the Professor of Political Science in this School from 1926 to 1950 after succeeding Graham Wallas. He was a well-loved figure and was not only respected by his students but by his colleagues as well. As he was a wonderful lecturer, he had a large influence over all his students.
