Gallery of Costume Tourist Information
The Gallery of Costume remains open for public viewing from 10 AM till 6 PM, from Sundays to Wednesdays. The Gallery closes down at 8 P.M. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Entry is complimentary for the visitors.
The Gallery of Costume in Manchester can easily be accessed from all parts of Britain and Manchester, through efficient train, car and bus services. The 142-3, 40-46 and 48-49 buses departing from the main city center help the native and foreign tourists to reach the Gallery of Costume, within the least possible time. Sufficient spaces for parking the visitor's cars are available in the side and at the back of the gallery building.
The authorities of the Gallery of Costume have special wheelchair arrangements for physically challenged visitors, to help them move inside and view the exhibits with ease. However, filming and photography inside the Gallery is generally not allowed by the authorities.
