Brian Kidd is an ex professional footballer of England and he has also served as a manager and a football coach since he had retired from the game. Brian Kidd was an exceptional footballer of his times, when he played from the 1960s to the 1980s. The birthplace of Brian Kidd is Collyhurst in Manchester. He was born on 29th May, 1949 and studied at the same school in Collyhurst, which was attended by "Nobby" Stiles. He was a member of the Manchester Schoolboys as well as the United Schoolboys. Gradually he worked hard and emerged as a leading forward for the United between the late 1960s and the 1970s. He is popularly known by his nickname 'Kiddo'.

In the late 1980s he was as a coach for young team at Manchester United and was instrumental in training future players like David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. After that he became the Assistant Manager and assisted the club in winning the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup.
In 2003 it was decided that Kidd would be the new assistant coach of England under Sven-Göran Eriksson. In 2006 he became the 1st coach of the team at Sheffield United.
