Founded in 1924 British Airways is a global airline providing flights to both domestic as well as international destinations. British Airways plc is the parent company of this airline. British Airways was formed in 1974 after BOAC and BEA were dissolved. In February 1987 British Airways was privatized. The very next year it incorporated the British Caledonian.
