A group of three teenagers formed the music band The Moonies in Liverpool in 2001.
Originating in Liverpool, England, the music band, The Moonies was formed in 2001. The young band members specialized in the alternative rock genre of music and went on to release hit singles and also recorded a music album.

The Moonies- music album
The Moonies recorded a music album titled 'It's Amazing' which was released only in Japan in 2003. The album comprised songs like 'Love Me', 'Last Summer', 'Big City', 'Long Long Time', 'Forever','Get Busy', 'Simple' and many others.
The Moonies- tours and performances
The Moonies toured extensively throughout the country with another group, Pinhole. They were also associated with The Buzzcocks and also performed in the Mathew Street Festival. The band members ultimately decided to part ways in 2005.
