The Bandits were a Liverpool based band that was active between the years 2002-04. They produced several singles that became very popular among music lovers.
The Bandits were a musical band based in Liverpool. Their music could be categorized as belonging to the genre of Alternative Rock. The Bandits were one of the well known blues rock band of their times. The band comprised of six members namely Scott Bandit (bass guitarist), Gary Bandit (Rhythm guitarist), John Bandit (Vocalist), Swee Bandit (Drums), Ritchie Bandit (Lead Guitarist) and Tony Bandit (Organ).
The Bandits-Debut
The Bandits made their debut in the musical scene with their maiden album 'Beatin Planks'. The album was produced by Honey Records and was launched in 2001.

The Bandits had an individual night club which attained great popularity in no time.
It proved to be launching pad for several bands, which included the likes of the Strands, the Coral, the Zutons, Tramp Attack and the Hokum Clones.
The Bandits-Music
The Bandits became a favorite with the masses after recording albums like “And They Walked Away”. The band came out with a number of hit singles too. These includes songs like “ The Bandits vs. Mad Professor”, “The Warning”, “Take It And Run”, “Once Upon A Time/On My Way”, “2Step Rock” and “Hit the Road”.
The Bandits gradually faded into oblivion after some of its members left the band. John and Scott Bandit were amongst them. They went ahead and formed a band of their own called The Pedantics.
