Born in 31st March, 1978 at Liverpool, Stephen Neal Clemence is one of the celebrated footballers of United Kingdom. Nowadays, Clemence performs as a midfielder and represents Leicester City. Stephen's father, Ray Clemence was a well known goal keeper, who used to play for England, Tottenham and Liverpool.

Stephen is designated as the club captain of Leicester City. BBC has selected Stephen as the most prominent player of Leicester City for year 2007-2008. In Carling Cup held on 18th September, 2007, Clemence's excellent goal helped Leicester City to win with a 3-2 score against Nottingham Forest club. In that very month Clemence was selected for the Championship Team. Under his captainship, Leicester won the match against Bristol City with a 2-0 score. Clemence scored his first goal in a League match on 29th December 2007, against Charlton Athletic.
