SCE Studio Liverpool is a renowned subsidiary of the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Group and has its headquarters at Wavertree Technology Park in Liverpool, England. It is mainly a software development company which was set up in the year 1984 in Liverpool and is the second largest software division of the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Group. Psygnosis
The history of the SCE Studio Liverpool dates back to the year 1984 when the company was set up under the name Psygnosis. This company was completely merged with the Sony Computer Entertainment in the year 1993 and the Psygnosis brand name of the company was changed to SCE Studio Liverpool.
Wipeout

This game became so popular that this became a regular series, which is released annually by the studio. This game has been improved in each of the 5 releases till date, and the last 'F1 06' which was released in summer, 2006 also had unique gaming ideas.
Wipeout Series
SCE Studio Liverpool made its mark into the Playstation 2 world with its 'Wipeout Fusion' which was absolutely unique and one-of-a-kind. The PSP game 'Wipeout Pure' is absolutely loved by one and all since the game has excellent visual graphics, sounds and exciting gameplay tactics. This game also allows users to download crafts, skins, racetracks and music videos. The sequel of 'Wipeout Pure', 'Wipeout Pulse' has also been released in December, 2007 and has topped the popularity charts of software games once again. Another series of the 'Wipeout' edition is still under development and is supposed to include the best features of the earlier two editions.
