Royal Liverpool Philharmonic was established in 1849. It was destroyed in a fire that broke out in 1933. In 1939 it was rebuilt. It has been a popular venue for various social events, concerts, plays and so on.
"The best in Europe" as called by Sir Thomas Beecham, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic has significantly contributed to the cultural scenario of the European Capital of Culture, Liverpool. It was founded on 27th August 1849. The present building that houses this hall was designed by Herbert Rowse in 1939 after the original building was destroyed in a fire in 1933.
Reopening of Royal Liverpool Philharmonic:
When Royal Liverpool Philharmonic was reopened in 1939 it became a venue for various concerts as well as a movie theater. The hall was renovated in 1995 spending £10.3 million. The architecture of this hall is sure to leave you spellbound. The design of the reception area resembles that of the tomb of Tutankhamen.

Booking can be done at the counter from Monday to Saturday between 10 am to 5:30 pm. On Sundays, telephone booking can be done between 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Booking can also be done by post. Philharmonic Hall also gives the opportunity of online booking. Credit cards are accepted here.
