Liverpool Police


Responsible for safeguarding the city and its adjoining areas, Liverpool Police is part of the Merseyside Police. Established to protect the city and maintain law and order, Liverpool Police functions as part of the Merseyside Police Force. The Police Headquarters of the Merseyside Police is located in Liverpool City Center. The two separate police forces of Liverpool North and Liverpool South supervise the particular neighborhoods.

Liverpool Police- organizational structure

The organizational structure of the Liverpool Police Force, both North and South, is similar. The Area Commander is the Chief Superintendent of Police. He serves as the head of a team of Inspectors
who work for the implementation of law and order.
