Magic 1548 is one of the most popular local radio stations of Liverpool, UK. It came into being in 1974. It shares the St. John Beacon tower with its sister radio station Radio City. It was previously known as 1548 City Talk, then came to be known as Radio City Gold and was thereafter known as City Gold. It was renamed as Magic when EMAP purchased it.
