This guitar band was born in 2004 when Paul Rafferty and Matthew Smith, two music enthusiasts, joined hands to form a band of their own. The drummer Alasdair joined them soon after the band was formed. Hot Club de Paris gave its first performance at Heebie Jeebies hall in Liverpool.
