The Liverpool Hope University was founded with the coming together of three separate colleges. Since its establishment it has striven to offer quality education to its students thereby enabling them to match steps with the competitive world outside the campus.
Foundation of the Liverpool Hope University
The Liverpool Hope University began its journey as three separate colleges. The Notre Dame College and S. Katharine's were located at the Liverpool City Centre and Warrington respectively. The third college was established at Merseyside and came to be known as Christ's College. All these colleges came together to form an organized unit in 1980 and came to be known as the Liverpool Institute of Higher Education. It underwent a further change of name by virtue of the Instrument and Articles of Government of 1995 and came to be known as Liverpool Hope. It acquired the accreditation of the University of Liverpool in 1994.
