The Liverpool districts form an important part of the political map of United Kingdom. Some of the important districts of Liverpool include:

Aigburth: This suburb in Liverpool is located in the southern part of the city and is surrounded by St. Michael's Hamlet, Grassendale and Mossley Hill. It belongs to the constituency of Liverpool Riverside.
Balle Vale: It is a shopping district of Liverpool. It is surrounded by cities like Huyton, Netherley, Childwall, Gateacre. Majority of the population in the Balle Vale district constitute rehabilitated victims of World War II.
Clubmoor: It is situated in the north-western region of England. It is also a Liverpool City Council Ward.
Everton: It is a Liverpool City Council Ward.
Garston: The regions that surround this district of Liverpool include Grassendale, Hunts Cross, Speke, Allerton. It is an important container port.
Kenningston: It is a residential district in Liverpool. It shares its boundaries with Edge Hill, Fairfield and Everton.
Old Swan: It is a part of the Liverpool Council Ward. The surrounding areas include Stoneycroft, Edge Hill, Broadgreen, Fairfield, Wavertree, Dovecot.
Mossley Hill: It is located in the southern part of the city of Liverpool. It shares its borders with Aigburth, Childwall, Allerton and Wavertree.
Speke: It is a part of the Liverpool City Council Ward. It was earlier a part of the Childwall parish in the West Derby Hundred, but was later made a part of the city of Liverpool.
