Elected by the citizens, the Liverpool Councilors are members of the City Council, the governing body of the city. The main aim of the group of Councilors is to represent the people and provide a means of communication between them and the government.
Liverpool Councilors- candidates and eligibility criteria
Elected by the citizens, the Councilors of Liverpool number up to 90. The City Council is divided into 30 wards and three councilors are chosen from each of the wards. Every citizen, with no criminal record and holding no other government post, above the age group of 18 is an eligible candidate for the post of a councilor.
