Located at West Derby of Liverpool, this school was known as Cardinal Allen Grammar School till the early years of 1980s. The school acquired its sixth form status in the year 1995 after the establishment of co-educational Sixth Form division. In year 2001, this school achieved the repute of Specialist Sports College.
