History of the Company
The Cains Brewery was set up by Robert Cains, who although an immigrant, managed to set up this internationally renowned brewery in the heart of the city. He had started this company at the age of 24 after purchasing a small pub near Limekiln Lane. Thereafter, his business flourished rapidly and he bought an old brewery site on Stanhope Street, Liverpool.
